British Association for the Advancement of Science
Bristol & Bath Branch

The BA is a unique nationwide organisation with open membership dedicated to the communication and appreciation of science. It has 16 sections embracing all areas of science and engineering, linking them and working with them to discuss and promote all aspects of science and its influence on our lives. The Bristol and Bath Branch reflects the interests of all sections, especially by holding joint events.

The Branch has an active programme of events to which everyone is always welcome. In addition, the Branch organises many other activities and projects. These have included acclaimed performances of a play with music and hands-on science on the work of the Herschels, and the Bath Scientific Heritage Trail.
